I’m a creative problem solver with an eye for detail and a collaborative mindset. I’ve been working in the print industry since earning my master’s degree in 2009. I have over 10 years of experience in print design, including work in advertising, page layout, and pagination. I maintain tight deadlines across multiple projects while maintaining an organized asset structure. I’ve been responsible for rebuilding production workflows, building a new, more collaborative system to streamline and substantially reduce production time. I was also tasked with training both design and editorial staff, as well as guiding the design staff in use of the new workflow while keeping open lines of communication between design and managerial staff. The change in production was so successful that my employer was able to shop it out to other area newspapers, creating a new revenue stream in training their staff to adopt the streamlined workflow. I’ve been taking on freelance clients in my free time since finishing grad school and have worked on a wide range of projects.

When I’m not working, I like cooking, baking, snuggling with my dogs or attempting DIY projects around my home.
